We have a lovely fully fenced garden with beautiful flowers and trees, and several roaming chickens who supply us with great free range eggs which can be included with your breakfast for a special treat. Our two friendly German Shepherds, Quin and Kea are added security at night. We can assist you in organising trips to see the many and varied attractions in our area. Kawerau itself provides the spectacular Tarawera Falls, and a permit will allow you to climb to the summit of Mt Putauaki (Mt Edgecumbe). A tour of the huge Timber mill is also available. The Kawerau Pool complex is a great asset to the community and is heated by geothermal energy, a great place to relax and wind down after a long day exploring. There is outdoor furniture, plus a BBQ, which you are welcome to use and electric blankets are available in the winter months.
